Semester of Service Student Volunteer Program: Agency Project Data Call

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) issued a memorandum on its student volunteer program, which it dubbed "SoS" for Semester of Service. The memorandum was a data call in which OPM directed agencies to submit descriptions of potential SoS projects. The memo encouraged agencies to promote the program at schools listed in a Department of Education database. OPM indicated that this program was consistent with the Merit Hiring Plan.
