HHS Establishes New Performance Element for Senior Career Employees

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) established a new performance evaluation standard requiring senior career employees to demonstrate “Faithful Support of Administration of the Law and the President’s Policies.” The performance element would account for 25% of each employee's overall rating and was implemented pursuant to the Office of Personnel Management's government-wide directive. The HHS-specific memorandum does not appear to be publicly available.
