EO 14,378: Continuance of the Federal Emergency Management Agency Review Council

In January 2026, Trump extended the operations of a Council he had created in January 2025 to assess the Federal Emergency Management Agency's work and structure. The Council was charged with issuing a final report with recommendations. The original January 24, 2025 Executive Order establishing the Council provided that it would terminate after one year, but the January 2026 order extended the termination date to March 25, 2026. As of present, the Council has not issued a report.
