U.S. Department of Education Closes Seven Civil Rights Enforcement Offices

In conjunction with its March 11, 2025, reduction in force, the Department of Education also closed seven of its twelve civil rights enforcement offices, including offices in Chicago, Philadelphia, New York City, Dallas, San Francisco, Boston and Cleveland.
