SSA Eliminates Two Offices & Reassigns Functions of a Third Office

The Social Security Administration (SSA) closed its Office of Civil Rights and Equal Opportunity and its Office of Transformation, which was the unit responsible for SSA's digital modernization work, including the agency's website. SSA placed the employees in those former offices on administrative leave. In addition, SSA moved the functions of its Office of Analytics, Review, and Oversight to other existing offices in the agency.
