HHS Human Resources Policy 630-2: Absence & Leave

The Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) issued a new time and attendance policy. The new policy included revisions to reflect the Office of Personnel Management (OPM)'s issuance of final regulations implementing the Administrative Leave Act, including the addition of sections on administrative leave, investigative leave, and notice leave. The policy also added Disabled Veteran's Leave, Paid Parental Leave, Parental Bereavement Leave, and five days of excused absence for employees returning from activity military duty.
