Amendment to Temporary Transitional Senior Executive Service Appointment Authorities

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) previously issued a memorandum authorizing agencies to hire additional non-career Senior Executive Service (SES) members, beyond the number ordinarily authorized, for terms of up to 30 days. This memorandum amends that guidance by extending the amount of time these individuals may serve to 60 days, or until May 31, 2025, whichever is later.
