Follow up: CHCO Council Special Session

This email message provided instructions to Chief Human Capital Officers (CHCOs) and their deputies for the mass termination of probationary employees. The February 14, 2025 email stated: "We have asked that you separate probationary employees that you have not identified as mission-critical no later than end of the day on Monday, 2/17.” The email provided a template for agencies to send to individual probationary employees to inform them of their separation. The template stated that the employee was being separated "based on your performance."
