Administrative Law Judges; Withdrawal

The Office of Personnel Management withdrew a regulation it has proposed in 2020 pertaining to an excepted service schedule (Schedule E) that had been created in 2018 for Administrative Law Judges. In its 2026 issuance, OPM explained that the comments it received on the 2020 proposed regulation were now five years old. OPM's notice indicated that it was planning to issue a new proposed regulation that would include changes beyond those that it had proposed to make in 2020.
