Letter re Firing & Reassignment of DHS Cybersecurity Personnel

According to a letter by Members of Congress sent to then Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem, hundreds of DHS employees including from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) have been fired via Reductions in Force and/or reassigned to immigration roles. Specifically, the letter alleges that employees from CISA has been directed to transfer to agencies like Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Customs and Border Protection, and the Federal Protective Service, with dismissal threatened for those who refused transfers. At least some of these personnel moves were later confirmed by CISA's Acting Chief months later in testimony.
