EO 14,211: One Voice for America's Foreign Relations

This Executive Order asserts that all employees who implement foreign policy can be fired by the President for failure to "faithfully implement the President's policy." It also instructs the Secretary of State to "reform the foreign service" by making changes to employee performance management, retention standards, and recruitment practices. It instructed the Secretary of State to update the Foreign Affairs Manual ("FAM") as needed to reflect the changes.
