EO 14,152: Holding Former Government Officials Accountable for Election Interference & Improper Disclosure of Sensitive Governmental Information

Executive Order | January 20, 2025

This Executive Order (EO) accused a number of members of the intelligence community of lying in a public letter related to accusations against Hunter Biden. It further accused former National Security Advisor John Bolton of publishing sensitive information in his memoir in a way that the EO characterized as "reckless" and undermining. The EO ordered the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) to report on “inappropriate activity that occurred within the Intelligence Community.” It also revoked the security clearances of over 50 named former officials.
