EPA Places 171 DEIA & Environmental Justice Employees on Administrative Leave

In February 2025, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced that it had placed 171 employees on administrative leave based on their involvement in environmental justice or in diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility work. The administration paid these employees while they were barred from working due to their placement on leave.
