Deferred Resignation Program 2.0

News reports indicated that, after expiration of the executive branch-wide deferred resignation offer, some agencies made a similar offer, known as the "Deferred Resignation Program 2.0" (DRP 2.0). Per reporting, these DRP 2.0 offers differed in some ways from the original, including that the DRP 2.0 could be combined with the Voluntary Early Retirement Program (VERA). These agencies include but are not limited to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Treasury, Department of Agriculture, and Department of Defense.
